Shelley will feature on Booth 5 in the 100th edition of The Other Art Fair held in the flagship venue of The Truman Brewery in London’s historic Brick Lane district.
One of over 100 hand picked and carefully curated artists, there is plenty to explore at the Fair. It enables art buyers to have a unique experience to buy artwork direct from the artists in a relaxed ‘non gallery’ atmosphere.
It provides an opportunity for you to meet Shelley in person, ask her questions about her work, and purchase or commission original artworks and buy a range of prints and products.
The artworks available at the fair will be predominantly from Shelley’s London Landmarks Collection, alongside a few works from other collections. She will also be premiering some brand new works – hot off the easel and never seen before.
To experience the London artworks – please visit the designated web page on these works.
Tickets can be obtained from the fair’s website. The Opening Evening on Thursday 10th costs about £35. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are about £20 per day to attend. You can regain entry with tickets over the long weekend.
If you’re signed up to Shelley’s mailing list you will get priority access to a very limited number of complimentary tickets. These are reserved for people wanting to attend the Opening Evening. Please contact me if you are interested in attending as my guest. There is also a 20% discount code to the fair : code 20THORNTON. As well as seeing affordable and original artworks by fantastic emerging and established artists, visitors can also experience immersive installations, performances, DJs – and a fully stocked bar.

A walk down this cobbled street will take you past some of the capital’s finest curry houses interspersed with Jewish beigel shops, street food markets, vintage stores and cafés. There is also the Gilbert & George Centre – which opened in 2023 – and is showing the fascinating London Pictures exhibition until the end of this year, with the Pride of Spitalfields pub next door.
