Chelsea Art Society’s 76th Annual Summer Exhibition is held in the flagship venue of Chelsea Old Town Hall on the fashionable Kings Road.
Founded in 1910, Chelsea Art Society is the oldest and sole survivor of the many art groups that blossomed in the area around that period. It’s a very prestigious society. Annually it invites artists from outside the Borough to submit work for the summer show alongside its members.
This is the first year I’ve submitted work and it’s a pleasure to be selected from the thousands entering, and following the exacting 2 stage vetting process.
The selected artwork is South Bank Yellow – part of my London Landmarks Collection.
