She’s Lost Control Again forms part of my Through Dark Collection – a largely monochrome and red set of more reflective paintings.

They are part of a mini series originating from the lockdowns of winter 2020/21. This period heralded a darker phase to my work – a clear contrast to the sunny brights of the preceeding spring and summer. My art took a reflective and personal – indeed visceral – turn.
