The Sink artworks form part of my Through Dark Collection – a largely monochrome set of more reflective paintings.

They are part of a mini series jointly inspired by rivets from a boat hull deep underwater and rivetted steel beams in industrial buildings.

Very textural in parts, very glossy in others, with flat matt elsewhere, they provide fascinating contrasts and shows that black is far from a monolithic tone.
