Pulsing Through Dark 3

The Pulsing Through Dark artworks form part of my Through Dark Collection – a largely monochrome set of more reflective paintings.

They are part of a mini series originating from the lockdowns of winter 2020/21. This period heralded a darker phase to my work – a clear contrast to the sunny brights of the preceeding spring and summer. My art took a reflective and personal – indeed visceral – turn. These paintings have crimson pulsing through them reflecting the mood at that time which was much more sombre.
